We provide a spectrum of BOTOX® treatments, from “baby Botox” (microdroplet technique preferred by many young models, musical artists, and actors), to more comprehensive treatments that improve existing lines and wrinkles. Prevention
Because we use BOTOX® primarily for its preventative abilities, the ideal patient can range in age from their 20s to 60s. By weakening muscles in the face, it is able to relax facial contractions so they cannot “bunch,” crease, or contort the skin. With continued use over time it can dramatically reduce the lines and wrinkles associated with aging. At this time in present history, there is no other substitute in the dermatology world that can prevent forehead lines, crows feet, bunny lines, or glabella lines as well as BOTOX®.
BOTOX® FOR LIPS, LIP FLIP, AND GUMMY SMILE
Our clinicians are skilled at using BOTOX® around the mouth to reduce smoker’s lines and radial lip lines, to achieve a lip “flip,” or to reduce the appearance of a gummy smile.
ANTI-AGING AND BOTOX®

BOTOX® FAQS
BOTOX® Cosmetic is an injectable treatment that temporarily reduces or eliminates the appearance of facial wrinkles. It is most commonly used to treat frown lines, forehead creases, wrinkles around the eyes, and other areas such as neck bands, jaw muscles, and lip lines.
BOTOX® works by blocking nerve signals to the muscles in which it is injected, preventing them from contracting. This results in a smoother, more youthful appearance.
The effects of BOTOX® are not permanent, so you will have to return for recurring treatments after a few months. How often you receive treatments depends on factors such as skin elasticity, age, and treatment site.
BOTOX® is a safe and effective way to reduce and prevent the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, giving you a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
Treatment requires minimal downtime, so you can return to your daily routine immediately after your appointment. SLK providers use smooth, ultra-thin needles imported from Japan to minimize trauma, bruising, and discomfort, to maximize our patients’ experience.

Before receiving BOTOX® injections, you will have a consultation with one of our nurse injectors to discuss your goals and create a personalized treatment plan that is right for you. The nurse injector will also review your medical history and explain the procedure to you.
Patients may begin to see results right away, especially if treating fine lines instead of deeper wrinkles. Most patients begin to see results in 5 days, with the best results visible in four weeks.
After the BOTOX® injections, some patients may experience discomfort, redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site. These common side effects are mild and temporary, usually resolving within a few days or weeks. These are not all the possible side effects of BOTOX® Cosmetic. Botox® is mostly priced by the unit, with the number of units needed depending on the area(s) treated, the severity of wrinkles, and the person’s metabolism.
